Whipped Potatoes with Leeks
Ingredients:
- Potatoes
- Salted water
- Leeks
- Garlic
- Heavy cream
- Pepper
Peel the potatoes and put in a pan of salted water on high.
Chop up the leeks and boil in the pan until the potatoes and leeks are tender. (If you do not have leeks you can use scallions or green onions as well). Drain water.
Add a little bit of garlic and heavy cream into pan or mixing bowl with a touch of butter.
Mash or mix the potatoes well. Make sure there are no lumps in the potatoes.
Then add more heavy cream and butter to the whipped potatoes a little bit at a time until desired consistency. Add pepper, salt to taste.
